Jennifer joined the highly respected and successful team at The Property Shop in January 2018 and became an Owner/Partner in July 2023. She brings a wealth of experience and a passion for embracing new challenges. The Property Shop, renowned for its commitment to supporting and empowering agents to be the best in the business, provided the perfect environment for Jennifer’s growth. It offered her the exciting opportunity to return to her roots and work closer to home in residential real estate.
With a diverse and extensive background in real estate, Jennifer’s journey began in commercial real estate in 2006, where she spent seven years working alongside a well-respected broker in Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley. In 2014, she joined an office in Aspen Glen, where she oversaw 17 properties and handled a range of responsibilities to ensure the homes were ready for guests at a moment’s notice. Now fully immersed in residential real estate, Jennifer’s boundless energy and enthusiasm, coupled with her dedication to thorough research and personalized service, have earned her recognition among clients and within the community. She is known for providing exceptional service and building trust through valuable insights and a hands-on approach to real estate transactions.
Born and raised in Meeker, Colorado, and a fourth-generation Glenwood Springs resident, Jennifer has a deep love for the outdoors. Whether hiking, biking, running, skiing, camping, or enjoying a swim at the Glenwood Hot Springs, she fully embraces the natural beauty of the area. Jennifer enjoys these activities with her husband, Steve, and their daughters, Thea and Sophia, taking full advantage of their stunning surroundings.
Jennifer’s family is actively involved in the local golf community. Steve serves as the Director of Golf at River Valley Ranch in Carbondale and recently became the new RVR Golf and Homestead Grill proprietor. Her father, Jim Cook, is a PGA professional, making the golf course a natural setting for Jennifer to spend time.
Jennifer’s love for the area extends to her commitment to community involvement. She has led Hospice of the Valley’s major fundraising events, chairs her daughters’ school fundraising efforts, and partners with Steve to introduce young people to the game of golf. Despite her busy schedule, she remains a dedicated full-time real estate professional.
